Dry Brushing Mr. Darko...Day 3...
The next step in the process is dry brushing using a cream color! I know it seems kind of redundant, going from white to black, then back to cream, but it layers the paint, and adds a transparent feel to the piece. Usually around this time I know where I need to add a lot of color and where I need to allow a little. With this piece though I added a lot of cream, giving the illusion of more depth where the carved areas are, you will see more tomorrow where it fades from white, to cream to black...STAY TUNED!
Remember this piece will be up for AUCTION on Friday! Please stop back by to see color tomorrow, and then drop by Friday to place your BID on Despicable Darko!!
