GO GREEN-BUY HANDMADE!

As all of you know today is Earth Day, a day where we can do things to better our earth. I am sure that I will be planting some more trees real soon, but today I want to talk about collecting green! If you want to go green- buy handmade, most of the artists use natural materials to create their products.Anthony Costanza uses found wood to create all of his brilliant wood carvings, and that is just one example. By buying these handmade items, you get a beautiful artistic piece to pass on for generations to come, now how is that for going green! Also it is great to buy vintage items on places like EBAY, by reusing these older collectibles, new ones do not have to be made, saving energy, waste, and so much more the environment! Do you part to go green today, plant a tree, plant a flower, change your light bulbs, and buy handmade!

Love the post Robert! Part of the reason I work in fastmache is because it air dries and I do not have to use electricity to dry the pieces in the oven or with fans. I love the fact I live in a town where they pick up your recycling for FREE. Every little thing helps!
