M.I.A.---Well it feels like I have been missing in action... I am finally going to release my first piece for 2010-Sunday!!! It is an 8X10 canvas piece, I was so excited to be working on canvas again. When I was in the community college working on my Associates in Arts and Fine Arts Degrees, (prior to my teaching degreE...), I spent most of my time in the art dept. painting up a storm! I attended two semesters in painting classes and then two more semesters in my own little studio upstairs in the art department. I loved every minute of it. Working on this piece made me think of how much fun I had had. I hope to offer more canvas pieces this year, in addition to my illustrations, sculpted pieces, and the wool felting that I hope to start soon...

I have also been in collecting mode...working with three artists on some new pieces for my home! I am looking forward to sharing these amazing new pieces as they make their way to me!!
