Consistency by mistake?

I fell in love with these guys last year!
They are grinning from ear to ear and just make me laugh!
My reproduced Julius the cat from Johanna Parker sits atop my computer desk on an urn, to the other side of my desk is a smaller urn that matches filled with candy for when I get a sweet tooth!
A collection of reproduction witch's by Tony Costanza, Polliwogs, Paul Gordon, Pam Schiffman, and Lib Cummings Mead.

Starting the decorating seems to take forever. You look through boxes and boxes of mementos, collections, gifts, and more, and you have to decide what goes where this year?? I have started going through the boxes and I realized that there are a few items that stay in the same place each year, new items may be added and some of the old ones taken away, but there are a few things that always stay the same. We as human beings like consistency, whether we are willing to admit it or not. As I started displaying some items in our master bathroom, I realized that several items were placed in the exact same place as last year. I did not do this on purpose, I picked out several witches and placed them there by size, trying to keep a balance, but three were in the same place exactly. See todays photos.

I'm right there with you Robert. I've been slowly getting the boxes out as well. With best intentions to change things up from year to year. But some pieces just have their "spots." Then of course there are those newly added pieces that need their time in the limelight. Have fun decorating! And I have more of the Kookie Kone sculpted but not painted. Not sure when they will get done...so I best get to it.
